Conceções e abordagens à aprendizagem – contributos da sua relação para a qualidade do processo de aprendizagem

Neste trabalho analisamos as conceções sobre o que é aprender e as abordagens à aprendizagem de 410 estudantes que frequentam o 1º e o 3º ano de cursos de Ciências Socias e de Ciências e Tecnologia, recorrendo a dois instrumentos adaptados para a população estudantil portuguesa (COLIp e ASIr). Para além da identificação do tipo de conceções e abordagens adotadas por estes estudantes e da análise das diferenças existentes tendo em conta o ano de frequência, a área de estudo, o género e o sucesso académico, averiguou-se a relação existente entre conceções e abordagens. Os principais resultados indicam predominância de conceções e abordagens profundas sendo tendencialmente mais profundas nos estudantes do 3º ano e nos estudantes que frequentam cursos de Ciências Sociais na conceção de mudar como pessoa. Em conformidade com a literatura encontramos também correlações positivas entre as conceções e as abordagens.

Elisa Chaleta has received a Ph.D. from University of Évora – Portugal in 2003. Is now an Assistant Professor at the Psychology Department of the University of Évora – Portugal and a Researcher of CIEP-UE.Her research interests are in the area of Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.
Paulo Quaresma has received a PhD from Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 1997. He is currently Full Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Évora, Portugal, and he is a researcher at NOVA LINCS. His research interests are natural language processing and artificial intelligence.
Luís Rato has received a PhD from IST/Universidade de Lisboa in 2002. He is currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Évora, Portugal, and he is a researcher at CIMA. His research interests include Image Processing, Machinne Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
Fátima Leal has received a PhD. from University of Algarve – Portugal in 2018. She is currently Researcher at CIEP – Centre for Research in Education and Psychology and collaborator of Department of Psychology of the University of Évora. Her research interests are in the areas of learning and teaching in higher education.
André Salgado has received a graduation from Escola Superior de Tecnologia – IPCB, Portugal in 2018. He is currently a student in the Master of Computer Engineering at the University of Évora – Portugal. His project interests are in the area of programming.
Margarida Saraiva has received a PhD. from ISCTE Business School – Portugal in 2004. She is currently Assistant Professor at the Management Department of the University of Évora – Portugal and researcher at BRU-UNIDE/ISCTE-IUL. Her research interests are in the areas of quality and management.
