Pensando programas curriculares como os projetistas pensam

As instituições de ensino superior têm de estar alerta para as mudanças que ocorrem na sociedade e por isso precisam inovar e transformar os seus programas curriculares. Uma ferramenta usada para potenciar a inovação nas empresas é a metodologia Pensando como um Projetista (Design Thinking). Será esta ferramenta útil também para o desenvolvimento de programas curriculares? O presente artigo procura uma resposta a esta questão apresentando a metodologia Pensando como um Projetista, discutindo a sua adequação no contexto de instituições de ensino superior e defendendo a articulação entre esta metodologia com o ensino assente em resultados (outcome based education), com princípios de alinhamento construtivo, como forma mais eficiente de desenvolver programas curriculares em instituições do ensino superior.
Rogério Duarte holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Lisbon University, Portugal, and is Associate Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department of Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setúbal, Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal, Portugal. Along his core research activities in building physics/energy conservation, he is also interested in promoting and researching quality in higher education institutions and equity for mature learners in higher education.
Ângela Lacerda Nobre has an academic background in nursing and economics, has a master in Applied Economics, a post-graduation in Philosophy, Psychoanalytical Training and a Ph.D. in Information Systems (Semiotic Learning: a conceptual framework to facilitate learning in knowledge-intensive organisations). She has professional experience as a nurse and as an economist; she is an Associate Professor at ESCE, Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal (esce.ips.pt). She has published her research in the areas of semiotics, psychoanalysis, practical philosophy, knowledge management and organisational learning.
Fernando Pimentel has a MSc in Civil Engineering and is Associate Professor at the School of Technology (Setúbal) of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. Fernando Pimentel researches in the field of pedagogy in engineering teaching and is interested in quality in Higher Education Institutions.
Marc Jacquinet has a PhD in Economics from ISEG, Portugal, is currently Associate Professor (Economics and Management) at Universidade Aberta, Portugal and is affiliated to the research centres CIEO and CEMRI at Universidade do Algarve and Universidade Aberta, respectively.
