A RIQUAL como rede de colaboração científica e os encontros de investigadores da qualidade: evolução da produção científica (2010-2018)

Os Encontros de Troia nasceram, em 2010, de uma iniciativa de dois investigadores da Qualidade, com a finalidade de constituir um ponto de encontro das comunidades técnicas e científicas, que investigam e desenvolvem atividades de algum modo ligadas às temáticas da Qualidade (e áreas afins), de forma a promover uma extensa reflexão e um aprofundado debate em torno dessas questões. Paralelamente, foi criada, nesse mesmo ano, uma estrutura própria: a Rede de Investigadores da Qualidade (atualmente a designada RIQUAL).
Desde 2011 até aos dias de hoje, esse evento alargou o seu âmbito e sofreu algumas modificações, destacando-se a atribuição de um ISSN às Atas dos Encontros.
Com este artigo pretende-se refletir sobre as redes de colaboração científica e, consequentemente, sobre a origem e evolução história da Rede de Investigadores da Qualidade (RIQUAL), bem como as atividades desenvolvidas nessa rede, destacando-se a evolução da produção científica nas Atas dos Encontros de Troia, no período de 2010 a 2018, através da utilização das palavras-chave, enunciadas pelos autores.
Os principais resultados obtidos mostram que “Qualidade”, “Modelos/Métodos e Ferramentas da Qualidade” e “Educação e Ensino Superior” são as palavras-chave que apresentam maior frequência e com menor frequência surgem os temas relacionados com a temática da Gestão pela Qualidade Total (TQM) e a “Qualidade no sector social”.
Margarida Saraiva has received a Phd from ISCTE Business School – Portugal in 2004. She is currently Assistant Professor at the Management Department of the University of Évora – Portugal and researcher at BRU-UNIDE/ISCTE-IUL. Her research interests are in the areas of quality and management.
António Ramos Pires has received a PhD from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology – Nova University of Lisbon – Portugal. He was President of the Portuguese Institute for Quality (IPQ), and Chairman of Board of the Portuguese Association for Quality (APQ). His research interests are in the areas of process management, design and development.
Keylor Villalobos Moya obtained his undergraduate degree in the area of Agronomy, at the National University of Costa Rica. He is currently a collaborator in the same University, however, he is currently studying with a scholarship at the University of Évora (Portugal), to obtain a master’s degree in Agro-food Quality Management and Marketing. His area of interest is the analysis of markets (marketing, consumer behaviour), optimizing products according to the needs of consumers.
