Existem estudos realizados para analisar o impacte da implementação e certificação pela ISO 9001 nas empresas, porém têm conclusões contraditórias. O presente estudo tem como objetivo apresentar os principais resultados de uma pesquisa para analisar o impacte do sistema de gestão da qualidade no desempenho de uma empresa, na área da metalomecânica, sediada em Aveiro.
A metodologia deste estudo baseia-se na aplicação de três métodos distintos de recolha de dados, garantindo a triangulação das fontes de informação, concretamente através da perceção da gerência com base em entrevistas semiestruturadas, da perceção dos trabalhadores por meio da aplicação de questionário e, finalmente, da análise de indicadores da empresa que permitem comparar o desempenho da empresa antes e depois da certificação.
Deste trabalho resulta a confirmação de vários pressupostos relativos a impactes positivos e negativos quer a nível interno como a nível externo, encontrados na revisão da literatura.
As conclusões do presente trabalho determinam a necessidade de estudos futuros para compreender esses impactes no setor da metalomecânica.
Rute Macedo Vicente is a quality, safety and environmental technical at the company under study, since 2015. During this period, carried out and certified the company by the following norms ISO9001:2015, EN1090, 14001:2015 and ISO45001:20182. Currently, Rute attends the second year of the degree in Quality at Águeda School of Technology and Management (ESTGA), University of Aveiro.
Jorge Miguel Oliveira is expert in quality management from University of Aveiro. He is Invited Assistant Professor at Águeda School of Technology and Management (ESTGA), University of Aveiro. Its areas of scientific activity are: excellence, innovation, business models and digital transformation.
Adelina Baptista has a PhD in Textile Engineering from the University of Minho, she is Assistant Professor at Águeda School of Technology and Management (ESTGA), University of Aveiro and at the Engineering Department of Lusíada Norte University. Their areas of scientific activity are: Complex Systems and Integrated Management Systems: Quality, Energy, Environment and Safety. In the present, she is a researcher at COMEGI Center for Research in Organizations, Markets, and Industrial Management and in GOVCOPP – Research Unit in Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies.
