Três Décadas da Qualidade em Saúde – Que Futuro?
Nos dias de hoje, a Qualidade em Saúde não está dissociada da Segurança do Doente, cujo movimento surge com a publicação do Relatório To err is Human. Desde essa altura que as políticas de saúde, tanto ao nível internacional como nacional, têm uma preocupação crescente com a avaliação e a melhoria dos cuidados de saúde. Este documento aborda as Políticas Públicas e a Qualidade em Saúde, bem como o movimento da Segurança do Doente e as ações desenvolvidas em Portugal nos últimos anos. Finalizamos com propostas de desenvolvimento que poderão contribuir para uma reflexão sobre o futuro da Qualidade e Segurança em Portugal.
Margarida França has received a Master from the Faculty of Economics of Coimbra University – Portugal. She is currently President of Board of Administration of ULS da Região de Aveiro, EPE – Portugal). Her research interests are in the areas of hospital administration, performance assessment, quality and patient safety.
Margarida Eiras has received a PhD. from ENSP-UNL in 2011. She is currently Adjunct Professor at the Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Lisboa – IPL, Portugal. She collaborates with the Department of Quality of the DGS for patient safety issues and also with OECD. Her research interests are in the areas of quality and safety.
