Competitividade das Instituições Ensino Superior: Integrando TQM, Sustentabilidade e Internacionalização
Este trabalho de pesquisa é baseado na tese de doutoramento da primeira autora, sob a orientação da segunda autora, na Universidade de Évora – Portugal, e destaca a importância da internacionalização para a competitividade e sustentabilidade das Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES). O modelo proposto, denominado SuiT4ES, integra as dimensões da Gestão pela Qualidade Total, sustentabilidade e internacionalização, com foco na ação International Credit Mobility do Programa Erasmus+. Este modelo é estruturado em três fases: definição da estratégia de internacionalização, implementação da abordagem TQM e sustentabilidade, e associação dos elementos em torno do Desenvolvimento Sustentável por meio dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS). A metodologia de pesquisa envolveu revisão bibliográfica, análise qualitativa e quantitativa de dados, com destaque para a importância da análise dos projetos ICM para identificar contribuições para os ODS. A integração dessas dimensões na gestão das IES, aliada à internacionalização e mobilidades internacionais, verificou-se, como resultado deste trabalho, é essencial para alinhar as estratégias com os objetivos globais de desenvolvimento, promovendo a excelência académica e a competitividade das instituições.

Teresa Nogueiro has received a PhD from the University of Évora – Portugal. She is currently a Senior Technician at General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. Her research interests are in the areas of quality, sustainability and internationalization.
Margarida Saraiva has received a PhD. from ISCTE Business School – Portugal in 2004. She is currently Associate Professor with Aggregation at the University of Évora – Management Department and a Researcher at BRU-Business Research Unit / Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal. Her research interests are in the areas of quality and management.
