The role of leadership and top management commitment from the perspective of ISO 9001:2015 in Higher Education Institutions
This study focuses on the analysis of leadership in a sample of public and private higher education institutions (HEIs), according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Its main objective is to analyze the leadership of those institutions based on that standard.
Qualitative and quantitative research methods are used through interviews and questionnaires using the SERVQUAL model, which allows the assessment of key dimensions of leadership.
The research results are expected to contribute to improving knowledge about the implementation of leadership according to ISO 9001:2015, in particular knowledge about leadership and teamwork, the leadership style adopted and the level of leadership perceived internally in HEIs.
